Rhynchosaurus Novus
Basic DetailsCommon Name: Ranch lizard Average Height: 3' at the shoulder Average Weight: 400 lbs Usual Pelt Colour: Grey, and dull greens. General Appearance: The product of genetic engineering prior to the Fall, Ranch lizards were found in the plains, grazing in massive herds, with heavy scales seemingly proofed against almost anything in nature, and large horns on their noses. Ranch lizards have eyes so totally devoid of life that anyone would look at the black pits and assume that the animals were dead. They move incredibly slowly in the cold, and they frequently lose races with drying paint. Ecological DetailsHabits: Living in gigantic herds, these animals patrol the grasslands, eating anything remotely green, and migrating constantly-although this is a misnomer-it suggests rapid movement. These animals, slow as they are, seem never to move, and in the cold season they can genuinely appear dead. Infact, they move so slowly that apart from a few details regarding mating (the bigger the male's horn, the more sex they get, purely by display) there is incredibly little to say about them. Their docile nature makes them ideal farming animals, and they are very popular for their meat. Diet: Grass Predators: Humans. Nothing else attacks the massive herds. Niche: Anywhere with grass, or a farm. By Products: Meat, scales, and experimental depressants. Created by: GeneralDisaster
